How to remove rust stains

1) Depending on the amount of rust to be removed from the area

2) 15 mins to complete the task

3) This task requires lemon juice, table salt, gloves

* Please note what you should not use on the rust – bleach should not be used as this cleaning agent will discolor the area. This can be done the night before as it will need time to activate the lemon and salt.

Step 1: Remove the rust

Carefully remove the rust, use a dull knife it does not damage the surface

Step 2:  Apply the lemon juice where the rust was removed

Do not rub it, spray the lemon juice to the area, making It easy to get to the corners of the rusted area

Step 3: Sprinkle the salt to the surface where the lemon juice

Step 4: Wait 24 hours for the lemon and salt to activate

You can also spray some more lemon juice to keep the area damp

Step 5: Rinse or wipe all off with cool water

Assess the area and repeat the process.
