At Better Business- TT, we provide the public with an extensive online database that comprises of Legitimate & Accredited Small and Medium Businesses/Individual Service Providers in T&T. This Directory/Database will comprise of dozens of categorized services that would give the consumer all the necessary verified information in order for them to make the best choice when it comes to retraining the services of any Business or Individual Service Provider. This online database is offered to the public at no charge. This may include reviewing its credit history, state registration status, necessary certifications, legal disputes, owner’s background, customer experiences, etc. 

Once approved, the company or individual service provider is added to our directory. If our investigators conclude that the business / individual does not operate in an honourable manner or that its products and services are unsatisfactory to customers, it will not be listed on our platform. Businesses and individuals who were approved are required to consistently maintain a high level of integrity and performance even after being added. Failure to do so will result in their removal from the platform. In addition to our extensive directory of accredited businesses and individual service providers, Better Business TT also provides a complementary array of services which promote participant safety and satisfaction in the marketplace. 

These include the dissemination of frequent alerts to consumers and businesses of reported fraudulent activity taking place across T&T, mediation services for marketplace stakeholders in dispute over financial transactions, private investigative services, the provision of escrow accounts for businesses, individual service providers and consumers, the preparation of scope of works and payment contracts for stakeholders, etc.

How it all Works

  • Step 1

    All businesses / Individual Service Providers who apply to be listed onto our platform must first consent to our terms & conditions which would initiate a Comprehensive Investigative process aimed at Legitimizing, Validating and Accrediting the applicant.

  • Step 2

    This comprehensive investigation is conducted by the leading 2 in T&T that is backed by over 20 Private Investigations Company years of client satisfaction and also in conjunction with all the relevant authorities such as the TIPS, Credit Bureaus, Regulatory Bodies.

  • Step 3

    All evidence unearthed by our Investigators is compiled and is reviewed by our Risk Assessment Team. Once it is found that the business / individual service provider is authentic and has a history of positive customer experience, it is given Accreditation Status and listed on our online platform. If risk factor to the public is too high then the applicant is rejected and will not be added to our directory.

  • Step 4

    The consumers who explore our directory can be assured that all businesses / individual; service providers listed on our platform have been extensively vetted and know that they are Legitimate, Trustworthy and have a history of good customer experience.

  • Step 5

    Users who have found and supported businesses / service providers listed on our platform are then able to create reviews. These reviews are verified by our team and shown to other users.
